Notes and observations:
  1. Massachusetts Avenue at seven cross streets throughout town got 215 out of a total of 300, or 72%
  2. Arlington Center - Massachusetts Avenue and Pleasant Street - got 76 checks, or 25%.
  3. The Minuteman Bikeway got 45 out of 300, or 15%.
  4. The Middle School and High School, combined, got 8%.
  5. Arlington Center was the largest single check getter by far, with 25%. The second most checked was Mass. Ave. and Paul Revere Road, near Trader Joe’s and Walgreens in Arlington Heights, with 38%.
  6. The Middle School and High School, combined, got 8%. Due to space limitations, private schools and the seven public elementary schools in town were not on the list. Based on Safe Routes to School survey data, it is clear that there are many problem spots at and near elementary schools.
